"Some people need to slow down in order to realize what is happening around them and some people need to go faster so that they are not taking things for granted and making amends before it's too late."

Time is something that can be referred to in seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, months or years. These days, time seems like it's going way too fast and that I am constantly being left behind and needing to hurry up and pick up the pace. But is it me who is slow? Or is everyone else just on time?
I am not too sure, but it always seems like I’m trying to catch up to everyone else ahead of me. I continuously worry about time when I eat, run, do homework or study. But is that just how I think? Or is it actually true?
It seems to be something that I'm constantly worried about, and am just realizing how much it really affects me. These days I take time for myself and work on moving at my own pace because oftentimes I ponder about the time. It’s like a race where everyone has their lane and the finishing line is the common goal and everyone is at a different part of the race and I guess it isn’t so bad being at different stages of the race. Some people need to slow down in order to realize what is happening around them and some people need to go faster so that they are not taking things for granted and making amends before it's too late.
Whatever your end goal is, you need to go by time depending on YOUR life and not others because everyone runs at different speeds and that's perfectly okay. While time exists, it is also limited so do not let it go to waste. Use the time to hang out with family, video chat with an old friend, apologize to someone and stay on good terms with them and much more.
Honestly, time is up to you and how you choose to spend it. For now, I could spend it cooking, exercising, or extra studying, but one thing is for sure that time is limited and we should value it so much more because many of us take it for granted. So what will you do with your time today?
